MICHELLE LYNETTE BUSH
costume Designer
Michelle Lynette Bush began her career as a costume designer on the amazing Chicago theatre scene. In the span of five short productive years, she designed costumes for 40 different productions with a broad spectrum of time periods and artistic styles. Some Chicago highlights include designing two shows at the highly renowned Steppenwolf Theatre and winning two prestigious awards for Outstanding Costume Design (Joseph Jefferson Award for LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES and an After Dark Award for MADAME DE SADE).
Michelle then set out for Hollywood to expand her costume design skills to the mediums of film and television. So far, she has designed six feature films, each one very different from the next, displaying her ability to adapt and serve each film with the unique style it deserves. She applies the same ideals and passion to the numerous music videos and commercials that she has also designed. Her film ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE is awaiting theatrical release after being a huge hit at the Toronto Film Festival Midnight Madness series. A film she designed called LEAVING BARSTOW recently won the audience award at the Newport Beach Film Festival and continues to travel the festival circuit. Cinevegas 2008 was the home for the world premiere of her film SOUTH OF HEAVEN. Other feature films seen in festivals around the world include MOONPIE and TRUE LOVE.
